Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Compassionate, person-centred counselling for adults navigating anxiety, relationships, and life's harder moments.
Practical Work Grounded in Real Life Events and Issues
01
Spot the Triggers
We notice the automatic thoughts and beliefs and how this affects your behaviours and responses to triggering events.
02
Practise New Responses
Together we will challenge negative thoughts and behaviours against evidence that proves otherwise. We will do this in a curious and non judgemental manner.
03
Skill Building and Practise
You will learn how to develop skills to change unwanted thoughts and behaviours that are keeping you stuck in the problem.
Practical Tools and Strategies
CBT helps you notice the patterns of thinking that drive difficult emotions and behaviours. Together we'll gently challenge those patterns and build new ways of responding — so you can move through life with more ease and less reactivity.
It's collaborative and hands-on. We'll work with real moments from your week, notice the thoughts that show up, and practise responses that actually help — always at a pace that feels manageable for you.
How the work usually unfolds.
01
Understand the Problem
We will challenge thoughts, feelings and behaviours that keep problems and negative thinking replaying in your mind.
02
Try New Behaviours and Ways of Thinking
Using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy we will learn to practise new responses and strategies one step at a time that is at a pace that is comfortable for you.
03
Making It Stick
We will start to notice what is working and and build this into to everyday life routines so that positive change happens.
